Frog Goblin

 Here's a little peak into what I am now sharing with my Patrons. The glazing process of a little garden goblin sculpture. he is going into the kiln soon. Follow me on Patron to see the progress of all my new works. It's a bit more interactive than a blog, check it out.

Beach Pit Fire

 These pots are not glazed, they are stained with smoke...

 They are first wrapped in flammable materials from land and sea..

 And then layered with various woods and minerals....

Then we wait all day until everything is burned out and the pots are cool enough to get out. I love how they turn out, I can't wait for the next one. Seaweed seems to make the best colors and patterns, especially the black stringy stuff.
